Born and raised in scenic Allentown, PA. I have been a teacher in the Central Bucks School District for the past five years. During my tenure in Central Bucks, I have been recognized as a Keystone Technology Integrator, served as a mentor for two new teachers, and worked as a cooperating teacher with Penn State's student teaching program. Teaching history as well as coaching tennis and track fulfill me personally and professionally. I recently got engaged to Michelle MacNeill, a 1st grade teacher in the district and am looking forward to our wedding in July of 2009.

Education
In 1998 I left the confines of the Lehigh Valley and ventured West to the greatest town in Pennsylvania, State College. I attained a childhood dream by attending Penn State University and managed to earn a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education, as well as a History Minor and a Geography Minor upon graduation in 2003.

Building further upon my education and love of history I obtained an internship in the summer of 2002 as a curator for the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Comission at the Pennsylvania Military Museum in Boalsburg, PA. This unique opportunity further instilled the importance of preserving and teaching history to inquiring minds.

Interests
Music is the soundtrack to my life. I enjoy playing guitar whenever possible or just discovering new sounds. Running, football, basketball, and tennis keep me physically active. I also thouroughly enjoy my ant farm, chasing Sasquatch through the pine barren forests of New Jersey, and performing unicycle tricks. Traveling and spending time at the beach is the greatest escape. I aspire to be a writer and hope to have a number of my works published within the next year, giraffes frighten me, and I have found Gouverner Morris' peg leg!
