Classroom Blog

In order to fully prepare students for education in the 21st Century, it is necessary to foster historical thinking and civic competence in a digital setting. This classroom blog will be monitored by the site administrator (that’s me, Mr. Blair) and no comments will be posted without my approval. At all times, this forum is to be treated in an appropriate manner and school rules are to be followed. By blogging, we can respond to the larger conceptual questions in history in an innovative manner.

Directions: Students will be asked to post a blog in response to various questions pertaining to American and Ancient World history throughout the course of the year. Blog questions will be presented in class and students will have a minimum of two nights to respond to the question at hand.

8th grade students will be posting blog responses on the Team Navigator NING for the 2008-2009 School Year.
7th Grade students will begin blogging during the 3rd Marking Quarter using a blog forum that will be announced in the coming weeks.
